Great Pond is one of Wellfleet's larger ponds. However, like Duck Pond, the high water level of recent years has made the available sandy beach area tiny. With a parking lot that accommodates 30+ cars, this beach might feel crowded. Access to the beach is down a wooden staircase. At the parking lot there is a walking trail through the pines that leads to Dyer Pond.
