Newcomb Hollow Beach

Newcomb Hollow is Wellfleet's northernmost ocean beach, closest to Truro. It has a big parking area and like Cahoon Hollow Beach, it is not SO steep to access. There is, however, a sand dune that descends from the edge of the parking lot to the beginning of the beach. You'll need to carry your beach chairs and bags down this sandy hill to get to the water.

Please remember that it's uncool and unecological to swim in a pond after swimming in saltwater. The little bit of salt carried on a bathing suit adds up and damages the pond's ecosystem. Preserve and enjoy Wellfleet's pristine kettle ponds. Start your day with a swim in the pond and finish in the ocean or bay.
