The Cape Cod Rail Trail stretches 22 flat miles from Wellfleet to Eastham to Orleans, Brewster, Harwich, and then Dennis. There are various places to stop for food and ice cream. Nickerson State Park and Salt Pond Visitors Center are nice destinations. Get whatever bike supplies you need at Idle Times Bike Shop - 2616 Route 6 corner of LeCount Hollow Road in Wellfleet. You can rent bikes here too and buy drinks and snacks. Park your car right there for free and hop on the bike trail.
