Bound Brook Island

Hundreds of years of sand accretion has made Bound Brook Island an island no more. It is wholly within the Cape Cod National Seashore in Wellfleet. At the inland portion of Bound Brook Island Road on Pamet Point Road is the historic Atwood-Higgins House, an authentic Colonial era home. You can drive downhill to a beautiful, secluded public beach, but the parking area fills up in the morning. Also, Bound Brook Island Road is mostly unpaved and filled with pot holes. There are a few private residences on the way - please respect their private property. Bound Brook Island makes a nice bike ride destination.
